'More Than a Bidet Company': TUSHY's Pivot, Email by Email
TUSHY told its list 'Half of our products are NOT bidets,' launched fiber gummies, then mapped a gut-to-bowl ecosystem. The pivot, email by email.

On March 9, 2026, TUSHY opened an email with "More than a bidet company." and walked its list down a five-product path ending at a poop-tracking app.
That sentence didn't come from nowhere. Our capture shows the pivot being built campaign by campaign over the preceding three months — catalog framing, category pushes, a supplement launch, then the reveal.
December: the catalog was already in place
The groundwork predates any announcement. TUSHY's welcome flow includes a catalog tour called "Meet the hole family" that frames a four-category store: Wash, Dry, Release, Purify — bidets, bamboo TP, toilet stools, scents.
And in the December 28 year-end sale, the Ottoman toilet stool got its own discount tier — 15% off, listed under the bidet tiers. A non-bidet product with its own line in the sale math.
January says it out loud
Mid-January, two catalog pushes landed on back-to-back nights. First a "Daily TUSHY Routine" walking five times of day through a candle, a bidet, a travel kit, the Ottoman, and a merch tee. The next night, the subject line dropped the pretense: "Half of our products are NOT bidets 🤯".
The rest of the month kept mining the non-bidet shelf. The Ottoman got a potty-training pitch aimed at parents, and a Sunday self-care routine sold an "Ask me about my butthole." t-shirt between yoga tips.

OpenFebruary gives scents sale billing
When the Valentine's sale window opened, the offer had two rungs: 15% off bidet attachments and 30% off scents — named SKUs like Evening Wood and Morning Zest. The bigger number sat on the newer category, and it held from the opening email to the last call.
Reboot: a straight-faced launch
On February 23 the new category arrived: Reboot, a prebiotic fiber gummy. The launch email is glossy 3D product photography and supplement claims — "as much fiber as an entire stalk of broccoli" — with no discount anywhere.
Day two argued economics: gut statistics up top, "Subscribe for less than 75 cents a day!" below. The following week came the objection-handler — subject "I tried fiber once and it didn't work", answered with a what-to-expect timeline drawn as a winding intestine.
Drop, subscription math, objections. Three sends, no code in any of them.

OpenMarch 9: the reveal, twice in one day
Then the thesis email. "GUT to BUTT to BOWL" went out at 16:30 UTC, opening on "More than a bidet company." and laying out a five-step product path: fiber, Ottoman, bidet, toilet brush, and Hindsight — a poop-tracking app, tagline "Know your sh*t."
Three and a half hours later, "AM BM GOALS" re-sold the same idea as a morning routine — e-bidets, candles, fiber, and the Classic in one sweep. Two angles on one beat, in one day.
Whether any of this sells gummies for a bidet brand, only TUSHY knows. What the emails show is the sequence: frame the store, push the categories, launch the product, then name the whole thing — in their words, "We're here for the whole movement."
What we noticed
- The pivot ran as a sequence: catalog framing in December, non-bidet pushes in January, a new-category launch in February, the ecosystem reveal in March.
- Reboot launched without a discount — the arc sold on a broccoli stat, 75-cents-a-day subscription math, and an expectation timeline.
- The reveal used TUSHY's same-day double-send habit: a repositioning statement at 16:30 UTC, a morning-routine remix at 20:00.
