ROKA's Anniversary Sale: 9 Emails, Then Full Price Again
ROKA's one discount window in our ten-week capture: six build-up sends, a 48/24/final-hours countdown, then a $565 restock at full price.

We captured ten weeks of ROKA campaigns, early March to mid-May 2026. Exactly one window in that stretch carried a discount: the 13th-anniversary sale, March 20–31.
Nine emails ran the sale. What stands out is how fixed the whole thing was — and how fast full price came back.
Six sends build the sale
The opener lands March 20 on a "2013 ✕ 2026" template with the end date printed on it: THRU 3/31. Below the hero sits a category matrix — six discount tiles, depth printed per category.
Then one category per send. The Maverick X.3 wetsuit gets a proof grid of world champions, the Gen II tri suit a flat $50 off, the Viper swimskins "the most popular swimskin in Kona."
A roundup on March 28 flags "Ends Tuesday."
The numbers never move. Wetsuits, swimskins and premium goggles hold at up to 25%, training swimwear and tri apparel at up to 15%, plus two flat dollar cuts — $50 off the tri suit, $30 off the SIM Pro.3. Eleven days, same depths start to finish.
Three days of countdown
The close is a ladder on three consecutive days: "ONLY 48 HOURS LEFT," then "ENDS TOMORROW – ONLY 24 HOURS LEFT," then "FINAL HOURS!"
Across the three sends, only the hero, the urgency label and one copy block change. The category tiles underneath are pixel-identical, numbers untouched.
These are list campaigns, so the send moments are ROKA's own choice — afternoon-to-evening slots, roughly a day apart. And "THRU 3/31" meant it: in our capture, nothing followed the final-hours email but full price.
Four days later: $565, stated plainly
April 4 launches the Maverick X.3 Thermal. There's no discount anywhere in it. The selling is a patent stack — IXI™, RSX™, ARMS-UP™, Yamamoto neoprene — and the accent color switches from ROKA's neon yellow-green to gold for the new line.
April 8 restocks the Comp.3 and prints the price like a feature: "At $565, it's simply the fastest, most comfortable entry-level suit on the market."
It stays that way. Through mid-May our capture shows a campaign every few days — restocks, launches, a giveaway — and none of them carries a discount. Credibility does the selling instead: named world champions with their titles printed into the image, "over 950 five-star reviews," the IRONMAN partner banner.
Whether one fixed window per season is policy or coincidence, only ROKA knows. What the capture shows is a brand that discounts once, on schedule, and stops.
What we noticed
- One discount window in ten weeks of campaigns, with the end date printed on the template from day one — and nothing in our capture extended it.
- The depths never moved inside the sale. The countdown changed the label, not the offer.
- Full price returned in four days, sold on patents, price-as-copy and champion proof instead of urgency.
